Cosmetic doctor Dr. Tijion Esho posted an Instagram video clip demonstrating the effects on your pores when youu use makeup remover wipes to get rid of your makeup. Makeup remover wipes is easy and very convenient to use so that you can remove your make up and avoid sleeping with it that may clogs pores and can cause breakouts, however it has some bad effects too.
According to Dr. Esho, he does not advise his patients to use makeup wipes.
In the Instagram video he posted, he used an orange and applied some foundation onto it. After spreading the foundation evenly over the face of the orange, he uses a makeup wipe to remove the foundation off of the orange. He did remove a decent amount of makeup off the orange, however the makeup remover wipe was not able reach bits of foundation that has seeped into the orange’s pores. Just imagine what it does to your skin. It's not just bad for your skin it is also bad for the environment.
Dr. Esho advises his viewers "Alternatively double cleanse using a cleanser or micellar water with for 60 seconds and try follow up makeup removal with moisture".
