The war drama themed film Lone Survivor is doing so well in the box office and experts believe that the movie can earn $29 million to $30 million this weekend. The budget for the film is estimated at $50,000,000.
Lone Survivor is directed by Peter Berg and stars Mark Wahlberg, Taylor Kitsch, Emile Hirsch, Ben Foster and Eric Bana. It is based on a 2007 non-fiction book by Marcus Luttrell and Patrick Robinson. It is set during the war in Afghanistan, where a United States Navy SEALs mission Operation Red Wings failed. The team which is composed of four highly trained SEAL are tasked to capture or kill Taliban leader Ahmad Shah.
