SNL being too political is getting tiring and it's not funny at all. They have overused the jokes on Trump and it's already lame. The show begins with Donald Trump press conference cold open and it was nauseating, it is old and tired. Alec Baldwin was really bad. Baldwin said he'll answer the question on everybody's mind: "Yes, this is real life," he said. "This is really happening." "On January 20, I, Donald J. Trump, will become the 45th president of the United States … and then two months later, Mike Pence will become the 46th." It's the lamest joke and he's getting paid for it. He also added other punch line that are really poor about health care, nuclear war and Steve Harvey.
Other jokes if you can call it one, is about Trump's supposed Russian pee party with prostitutes. "I'm a major whiz at jobs. It's a golden opportunity for me to make a big splash. You're in? You'rein? Urine?" The writers and Baldwin look amateurish.
On Felicity Jones monologue, she said "I didn't get to use a lightsaber in the movie, but I did get to transfer a very large data file." Then Tina Fey shows up as Princess Leia to give Jones hosting advice: "If Steven Seagal can do it, so can you." It's just sad, poor acting poor comedy.
